Who I am?

Hello there! I though it could be a good idea to tell you a little bit more about myself. I know that when choosing a PT or other life coach, it's very important to find one that you can trust and that you share some common values.

So my name is Anni, I come from Finland and I'm 32 years old. Before working as a PT, I was actually working in online marketing. Two years ago I realized that the job where I was, was not fulfilling to me and that I wanted to work with my real passions, which are food, health, and sports! First I started to study nutrition, then I resigned from my job and after spending one year trying to figure out what I really wanted to do, I made the decision that changed my life; I started a Personal Trainer education and became self-employed.

And I don't regret a tiny bit!

About me / Anni S Personal Training

I have been focusing on mobility during my studies and learning more about that after I got my certificate. Now I'm teaching two mobility classes per week and I also have some private clients just for mobility training.

Why is mobility important? Well that will be a topic for another blog post, but simply said, if you lack mobility, you will most probably get pain in your body, you might get injured when exercising, and your life quality will decrease.

But mobility is not the only thing I teach. With most of my clients I do a full coaching, so I make gym programs, fitness level tests, exercise programs for home, I teach running technique, HIIT, core and everything that my clients need, including also the diet plan. I always look at the whole big picture and take all different aspects into account when planning the sports program for my clients. First we need to build the base and then we can make the exercises more challenging. And of course there should be always enough of rest and recovery.

What about diet then? If you didn't know, 80 % of the results are done in the kitchen, only 20 % with sports. I courage my clients to eat more vegetables, make sure they get enough fibers and good fats. My own diet is mostly gluten and dairy free, and I try to courage my clients also to try different options to replace milk in the diet. I recommend to use avocados, olive oil, coconut oil and avoid everything processed.

I enjoy life and I want my clients to enjoy life as well. Diet and exercise program should not be too restrictive or it shouldn't take all the fun out. Together we can find the plan that motivates you and brings you closer to your goals!

Do you have any questions for me? Feel free to write a comment, and I can do another blog post answering to all of them! Have a great day! :)

Anni
